Finnish Security Intelligence Service

The Finnish Security Intelligence Service (Supo) is an operational security authority whose core functions are counterterrorism, counterespionage and security work. The basic values of the Security Intelligence Service are legality, reliability and quality. The statutory duties of the Service are defined in the Act on Police Administration. Supo and its 220 employees are maintaining and further developing their readiness to act under leadership of the 7^th Director of the Service, Mr. Ilkka Salmi.
